Our Process

Our strategic collaboration process is designed to fully understand and address your challenges, from initial scoping to execution and assessment.

• Scoping: The first step in Strategic Collaboration is to understand the scope of the challenge- most importantly, the customer’s desired end state (the more detailed, the better). Our team will take the time to understand the customer’s objective, stakeholders (including those organizations whose participation is considered vital to success), potential challenges/friction points, deliverables, measures of performance, and available resources (among other things)
• Strategy: The second step is policy and doctrine review- not only from the customer’s organization but also from the mission partners, to identify common requirements to serve as collaboration start points. BVG will conduct pointed engagements with the customer and mission partners to build stakeholder mapping and develop an engagement strategy and Plan of Objectives and Milestones (POaM).
• Execute: Once the customer is comfortable with the strategy and POaM, BVG will schedule and execute events that build on themselves and lead to the objective/desired end state. Each event will begin with presentations to achieve a baseline of knowledge and then quickly move to a case study discussed and analyzed in small groups, with large groups brief backs.
• Measure and Assess: BVG will work with the client to use the metrics developed during the Scoping step to measure the initiative’s progress and success across the stakeholders. If sufficient progress is not achieved, BVG will identify the issues, address/rectify them, and refine the Strategy/POaM as required.
